Tom Eschelman is an accomplished stand-up comedian and actor with an upcoming feature on Gotham Comedy Live. Splitting his time between Los Angeles and New York City he’s performed at such renowned clubs as the Comedy Cellar, The Improv, and The Comedy Store, entertaining audiences with stories about his awkward dating life, quirky family, and odd jobs. As an actor, Tom has had recurring roles on The Young and the Restless and All My Children and has appeared in dozens of commercials.

Born in Ohio, Tom moved to Southern California when he was five because he was “completely over those winters.”

After raising his parents, two brothers, and two sisters, he went on to graduate from the University of California, Santa Barbara with no honors.  He then did a stint in the corporate world before ditching his finance career to “follow his heart” — which somehow led to him moving back in with his folks and selling socks at Nordstrom.

Tom eventually found his way to the stage and can now be seen in clubs and comedy festivals across the country.  He currently lives in Hollywood, near that corner where the cross-dressing male prostitutes hang out…totally a coincidence.
