I’ve always been skeptical of coaches, but I heard only the best things about Tom, so I thought I’d give it a go. I’ve been doing stand-up for 8 years, so I thought, “Will I learn anything new?!” And spoiler alert, “Yes, I did!”  I was over the moon with the feedback and advice he gave me. His approach to both analyzing my material and helping me understand the structure of the greats, was so helpful. Tom was thorough and thoughtful, providing some huge light bulb moments!

After even just one hour with Tom I felt like I learned more than I did during multiple months of comedy shows and classes. He made me think about my material in new ways, offered suggestions and gave great advice. In an industry where it can be hard to get clear and actionable feedback, Tom guides his clients with confidence. Can’t recommend enough!

And, he has a bunch of really valuable tips for stepping up your stage presence. Bottom line: no matter what level you’re at, Tom will take your comedy to the next level. It’s time and money well-spent.

Tom looks like he’s a cool guy but in reality he’s a huge nerd...for comedy. He understands how to make people explode with laughter the way that Oppenheimer understood how to make people explode. In his 1 on 1 seasons he personalizes the info for you so that you can be funny even if you’re not smart.

Tom’s mentoring is no joke. He went through my written material and video recording line by line, offering valuable feedback, legit tools and whip-smart ideas. If you want to improve— he’s your guru.

Tom diligently went through my set and helped me to cut out a lot of unnecessary wording, eliminate weaker material, and punch up my jokes. He also offered valuable writing tips and has a wealth of knowledge. If you’re looking to tighten up and strengthen your set, I highly recommend his services!

Tom was able to look through my sets and, with the precision of a physician, give me concrete, actionable advice to make my sets and performance better! I highly recommend working with Tom to help you get your stand-up to the next level, work out your set and/or understand the craft better.

Loved all the insight and coaching with Tom. He got me pumped with the challenge to work on my craft to kill. I was feeling stuck and Tom taught me techniques no one else has. He noticed performance habits to adjust to improve my set. And most importantly, he motivated me to stand in my power on stage. Wow! It’s like comedy coaching and therapy in one session.

Tom’s explanations on how to hold an audience’s attention and the mechanics of joke construction were revelatory.  His insights help you to recognize the techniques and skills that you need to master, to make a good joke funnier.  I would highly recommend a session with Tom because it offers an efficient path up a learning curve necessary to succeed at stand-up comedy.
